Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce noise, increase the amount of air flow and reduce shaft horse power by providing a forwardly inclined vane part at the outside peripherl part of each of impeller vanes and on the rear said of the vane.
CONSTITUTION: The runner vanes 105 are rotated by rotating a driving motor 101. In order to prevent turbulent flows of air at the outside peripheral parts of the vanes 105 and to guide air to the inner side of a frame 104, the forwardly inclined vane part 106 is provided at the outside surface part of each of the vanes 105. The inclined vane part 106 is so shaped that the ratio l/L of the chord lendth l of the vane part 106 to the chord length of the vane 105 is 0.6W0.8 and the broadening angle α of the vane part 106 against the outside periphery of the vane 105 is 10W20°. As a result of said size and angle, noise and the shaft horse power are reduced.
