Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to form flat projected parts having a constant height with a good workability, by press-levelling coated surface having unevenly cubic pattern with the hard roller which is provided with meshes and minutely holed sheets.
CONSTITUTION: Material to be coated 1 on which projected parts are formed by sprayed coating material 2, is advanced by means of belt-conveyor equipment, etc. Hard roller main body 5 is installed at the right angle to the advancing direction of material 1, and projected parts of sprayed coating material 2 on material to be coated 1 are levelled by pressing. The composite body of 100W10 mesh net 6 and minutely holed sheet 7 having the holes which are smaller than that of net and which does not pass through the coating film component, is inserted or fitted freely attachably and detachably on the outer periphery of roller main body. By using this hard roller 5, the mold releasing liquid can be maintained under good condition, and adequate levelling can be performed due to the relief of stress generated on the contact surface at the time of levelling, and thus flat projected parts are formed.
