Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent falling off of sand grains and, at the same time, to form a beautiful surface of improved stucco coating, by enlarging the contact area between sand grains, etc., and the paint, etc., by spreading sand grains treated with a surface active agent on the paint applied on the surface to be painted.

CONSTITUTION: The paint composed mainly of a well known synthetic resin is applied on the surface to be painted composed of a smooth or uneven surface of base material (e.g.; metallic plate, synthetic resin board, etc.) 1 to a required film thickness, by using equipment, such as roll coater, etc. Then the improved stucco coating is performed on the painted surface, by distributing sand grains, etc. (e.g.; silica sand, ground rock particles, etc.) of about 0.5W2mm in diameter treated with surface active agent 4 on the painted surface, and then, by performing a baking treatment on the applied surface. An anionic, cationic, or ampholytic surfactant is used as the above mentioned surface active agent. Moreover, since the surface active agent is used, the surface of sand grains is smoothened and the paint adhering property is improved. Therefore, the contact area between the paint and sand grains is enlarged and, at the same time, minute powder, such as dust, moisture, sand grains, etc. adhering on the surface are removed.
