Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noises by reducing electric power consumption by providing a switching circuit and diode controlling the generation of reverse pulses at a primary side of the transformer of an insulating driving circuit and a capacitor holding a forward voltage at a secondary side. CONSTITUTION:Between time t1 and t3, transistors 9 and 10 turn on with signal TM2 and between time t1 and t2, transistor 8 turns on with signal TM1. However, a reverse voltage developed following a forward voltage between points A0-B0 on a primary side of transformer 13 is small, capacitor C is quickly charged with a forward voltage developed across a secondary winding, and the constant voltage Vc is applied via resistance R2 to FET12, which turns on. When signal TM1 is applied between t4 and t5, transistor 8 conducts and signal TM2 is not applied. Consequently, transformer 13 generates a large back-swing voltage following the forward voltage while transistor 8 is off and then transistor 11 conducts to discharge capacitor C instantaneously via a secondary winding, turning off transistor 12.
