Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the density of a silver image and increase the transfer speed by adding an org. heterocyclic compound having SH or C=S to a double-layer image receiving material for a silver diffusion transfer method together with thiosalicylic acid or its substituted deriv. CONSTITUTION:To a double-layer image receiving material consisting of a photosensitive material and an image receiving material for a silver diffusion transfer method is added a compound having SH or C=S and represented by formula II or III (where R is H, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl and Z is atoms required to form a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring together with N and C) together with thiosalicylic acid or its substituted deriv. represented by formula I (where A is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, amino, amylamino, NO2 or the like, M is H, an alkali metal or the like and n is 0 or 1-4). The synergistic effect of both the compounds increases the transfer speed and raises the density of a silver image.
