Abstract

PURPOSE:To gradually exchange lubricating oil automatically in a lubricating system by providing a one way valve which is connected with a lubricating oil passage and a high pressure fuel passage and gradually mixing small amount of the lubricating oil into the fuel. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure fuel passage 6 to each cylinder and an oil tube 8 which is connected to a main gear rally of an engine lubricating system are connected with a connecting passage 9. A one-way valve 13 holds a valve which is seated on a valve body 11 with a spring 10 to allow the flow only in the direction from the oil tube 8 to high pressure fuel passage 6. Being thus constituted, when pressure in the high pressure fuel passage changes, a very small amount of the lubricating oil in the oil tube 8 flows into the high pressure fuel passage 6 through the connecting passage 9 momentarily to be combusted in the engine. As an oil feeding device operates and supplies fresh lubricating oil to the lubricating system of the engine, the lubricating oil is automatically exchanged, and no changing or inspecting operation would be necessary.
