Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately detect the level of charged material and detect the circumferential balances of melt-stuck zones by directions in the level reducing process by monitoring the reducing level by the signals from the plural pressure sensors of the number of installation increased toward downward between a blast furnace shaft and a bosh. CONSTITUTION:The disposition of the above-described pressure sensors is set in >=2 positions, for example, in 4 positions, at a 2m pitch from the upper stage of the shaft down to the middle stage, a 1m pitch from the middle state of the shaft down to the lower stage and 0.5m from the lower stage of the shaft down to the bosh, respectively. The level of raw charged material is accurately detected from the pressure drop values obtained from the pressure information of these pressure sensors and the stable blast furnace level reducing operation is carried out. Namely, when the raw charged material drops down to the pressure gage B from the state that it exists between the pressure gages A-B, the pressure values shown by the pressure gages A and B show approximately the same values, and the pressure drops between A-B are approximately zero. Hence, this point is regarded that the raw charged material has passed the point B, thus the burden level is detected accurately.
