Abstract

PURPOSE: To cure the thermosetting resin uniformly and rapidly and to miniaturize a heating furnace by a method wherein an electrically conductive substance is incorporated into the resin and the resin is heated by high-frequency induction heating.
CONSTITUTION: A tubular body 1 formed by using the thermosetting resin having the conductive substance such as carbon black incorporated therein is inserted between electrodes 4, 4 and the resin is cured by high-frequency induction heating. Since metals hinder the induction heating by the microwaves, a paper-made mandrel is used. Resin mortar may be used as a thermosetting resin. Since the conductive substance is incorporated in the resin, the resin can be cured uniformly and rapidly, enabling the heating furnace to be miniaturized. Incidentally, the frequency of the microwave is set to be in the range of about 1,000W10,000MHz.
