Abstract

PURPOSE: To heat the whole metallic plate at a uniform temp. in heating the metallic plate by high frequency electromagnetic induction heating, by arranging tubular coils on both sides of the metallic plate in a direction so that the magnetic field between the tubular coils becomes stronger, then by applying electric current through the coils.
CONSTITUTION: In heating a metallic plate 1 made of metal having high magnetic permeability, e.g. iron, cobalt, nickel etc., by high frequency electromagnetic induction heating, tubular coils 3 are arranged on both sides of the metallic plate 1, with the metallic plate 1 placed between the coils, then electric current is applied to the coils. The tubular coils 3 are so directed that the magnetic field established between the tubular coils becomes stronger in order to generate induced current uniformly in the metallic plate 1, hereby the whole metallic plate 1 is heated to a uniform temp. This method is utilized in a process where thermosetting resin painted on a metallic core is baked in the manufacture of metallic core-printed circuit plate.
