PURPOSE:To perform spot welding at welding points in different arrays and on a curved surface easily by providing a cam plate slidable to a welding gun supporting part and a cam follower coupling with the cam surface of the cam plate, and by adjusting the relative position relation of a spot welding gun. CONSTITUTION:Cam plate 32 is at position A and while material 20 to be welded is held between welding chip 44 and back electrode 19 on electrode holder 18a, electricity is fed to cable 45 for spot welding at required positions. The electric feed is stopped after the completion of the welding and slider 17, back electrode 19 and material 20 to be welded are moved in a body to the next welding section in direction S by piston rod 23. Cam plate 32 is moved to position B by piston rod 51. Cam follower 40 engages with different cam groove 33, arm 37 is displaced slightly, and the center point of the welding point moves from point X to point Y.
