Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled substance without requiring ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and ADP (adenine dinucleotide phosphate), by reacting nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide with nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide kinase-containing mold in the presence of both a chromatophore and an inorganic phosphate.
CONSTITUTION: Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide as a raw material is reacted with a nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide kinase-containing mold, e.g., Brevibacterium ammoniagenes IFO12072, Proteus vulgaris IFO3851, etc., to give nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate. In the process, a chromatophore and an inorganic phosphate are added to the system during the reaction and reacted. A magnesium salt, ascorbic acid, manganese salt, etc. may be added to the reaction system, ATP or ADP is not needed to be added.
