Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a reclaimed type less susceptible of a static unbalance by detecting the lightest point in a peripheral direction of a base tyre and adhering unvulcanized tread rubber several times so that the seamed parts of the both ends may be positioned at the said lightest point. CONSTITUTION:The remaining tread or injured breker of an old type is removed, the removal surface is buffed and further, a concave or a through hole is repaired to obtain a base tyre 1. Next, the lightest point of the base tyre is detected and an unbalance mark 4 is attached on the said point. Then the base tyre 1 is set in a former and a required number of new unvulcanized cushion rubber and breaker are attached. Over them, a rubber cement is applied. Following these procedures, a winding start point of the leading cut end 3 of unvulcanized strap-shaped tread rubber 2 extruded from an extrusion machine is caused to coincide with a mark 4 on the tyre 1, and the said rubber is wound around by one winding length and then is cut. The cut faces of the both ends are matched and seamed together. After these steps, this tyre is set in a vulcanized and the tread part is pressed and heated with the use of a pattern embossing mold. Then the tread rubber 2 is vulcanized to to produce a reclaimed tyre.
