Abstract
PURPOSE: To apply satisfactory frosting on the surface of a synthetic resin molding by depressing a press mold of heated heat-resistant rubber on the surface of a synthetic resin molding.
CONSTITUTION: A press mold 1 consisting of a heat-resistant rubber with fine dense uneven surface 2 formed, is heated at temperature higher than a thermal deformation temperature for a synthetic resin molding by more than scores of degrees C, preferably 150°W230°C. Said press mold 1 is depressed on the surface of a processed material (a) for approx. 0.2sec at a pressure of 3W5kg/cm3, and then an uneven pattern on the surface of rubber is transferred onto the surface of the processed material (a). As a result, a serious dent or injury on the surface of the processed material can be avoided, so that a uniform and satisfactory frosting procedure can be applied.
