CONSTITUTION:For a magnetic medium obtained by coating the base with magnetic powder together with binder components, modified polyurethane resin (A) containing urethane molecules having a hydrogen group at a position other than both terminals of the principal chain, low-molecular-weight polyol (B) of <=10,000 molecular weight having a hydroxyl group at a molecule terminal by about 5- 50wt% of the weight of component A, and low-molecular-weight polyisocyanate (C) (e.g. m-phenylenediisocyanate) by 3-50wt% of the total weight of components A and B are used as binder components.
