Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a cock from danger caused by intentional opening and closing operations of the cock, by aligning a through hole of a holder cover with a hole of a locking portion for locking and prohibitting operation of an opening and closing handle when the cock is opened and closed in a predetermined condition.
CONSTITUTION: A projection 18 extended from an end of a handle 13 is provided with a through hole 15, while a ring-shaped locking portion 17 is formed separately from a casing 10 and both ends are fastened to each other with screw 19 or the like. The longer end 17' is provided with a hole 16, and the locking portion 17 is fixedly fastened to a piping 12 with the screw 19 in such a position as the longer end 17' is opposed to the projection 18 of the handle 13. Thus, when a cock is opened or closed, the through hole 15 is aligned with the hole 16 to be locked so that any danger caused by intentional opening and closing operations of the cock can be prevented.
