Abstract
PURPOSE: To return drained liquid to conduit side if necessary for use by providing a reservoir chamber adjacent a pressure conducting chamber of an actuator body to drain liquid to the reservoir chamber through an opened drain valve.
CONSTITUTION: When a liquid conducting piping 10 is clogged, liquid is confined in a pressure conducting chamber 8 and a piston 6 cannot be displaced, a valve body 18 is spaced from a valve seat 19 to open a drain valve 16 by closing at first a cut- off valve 23 and then rotating a handle 21. As a result, the pressure conducting chamber 8 communicates to a reservoir chamber 14 and liquid in the chamber 8 is pushed by a piston 6 energized by a coil spring 11 to be drained into the reservoir chamber 14. Thus, drained liquid in the reservoir chamber 14 can be returned to the pressure conducting chamber 8 side for use if necessary.
