Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the flowing of an excessive helix current by adding a delay circuit to delay the application of a helix current after the recovery of an instantaneous shutdown in order to stop the application of a helix current due to the recovery of the instantaneous shutdown until an anode voltage discharges compltely after an occurence of the instantaneous shutdown.
CONSTITUTION: The output of IC1 drops to the ground voltage and an electic charge accumulated in a capacitor C1 discharges instantaneously when a source voltage drops beyond a given value. Accordingly, the output of IC2 drops to the ground voltage and a transistor TR1 is shutdown to shutdown a helix voltage. The input voltage of IC2 increases depending on a time constant which is a product of a resistance R3 and capacity C1 when the source voltage is recovered. Thus the transistor TR1 becomes conductive when an anode voltage discharge completely, and a helix voltage is applied.
