Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain continuously a reinforced plastic tube having a given thickness of forming material layer by a method wherein a long-sized fiber is slackened partly on the way round a cam cylinder, which is intersected with the remaining long- sized fiber and wound on the periphery of a resin mortar layer.
CONSTITUTION: A mold releasing material 5 is wound on the outer surface of a core mold 1, a glass roving 6' is wound thereon to form an inner surface layer 6, a resin mortar 7' is supplied between it and a roll 2 to form a resin mortar layer 7 on the inner surface layer 6. In this case, a part of long-sized fiber 8 is kept creeping on rotated cam cylinders 4, 4... on the way of its being supplied along the roll 2, slackened and zigzaged when passing the cylinders 4, 4..., and the outer surface of the layer 7 is covered so as to allow it to intersect with the remaining long-sized fiber, thus preventing the layer 7 from getting out of shape or dropping. A glass roving layer 9' is wound thereon to form an outer surface layer 9, and then it is allowed to pass a curing oven 10 to harden and released from the mold.
