PURPOSE: To solvent-weld cloth materials consisting of a structure laminated with a fiber layer and a resin layer firmly and easily with the fiber layer sides opposed each other by interposing a thermosetting resin piece which is fusible together with the resin layer.
CONSTITUTION: To manufacture a seat to be used for motorcycles and the like by solvent-welding cloth materials 61, 62 consisting of a structure laminated with a fiber layer 4 and a resin layer 5 with the fiber layer 4 sides opposed each other, a thermosetting resin piece 7 which is fusible together with the resin layer 5 is interposed between the opposite fiber layers 4. The resin piece 7 then works as a bridging medium for both resin layers 5 to be welded, fuses together with the resin layer 5 at thermal welding, functions to unify tthe resin layers 5 mutually as diffusing into the fiber layer 4, thus solvent-welding the cloth materials 61, 62 firmly each other.
