Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize a small amount of surface soil effectively by a method wherein water in a reservoior made near a working site is jetted under high pressure, thereby the surface of the working site is dug to store muddy water and the mud is returned as a surface layer after preparation of land in the land preparation in the area of the rocky ground.
CONSTITUTION: The reservoir A is made near the land to be prepared, a reservoir B for sedimentation of earth and sand is constructed below the reservoir A and further below a reservoir C for clearing flow-down water is prepared. Water in the reservoir A is jetted from a nozzle 11 to render the surface soil muddy, and the muddy water thus prepared is sent to the reservoir B and stored for a prescribed time therein, solid components such as muddy soil are settled, and thereby earth and sand are separated from water. And, the earth and sand are carried to a surface-soil piling site D by a truck and the like and stored there, while water in the reservoir B is returned to the reservoir A by a pump 5. The water overflowing the reservoir B due to rain fall is clarified in the reservoir C. After preparation of the land, the piled surface soil is scattered and leveled on the surface layer of the working site.
