Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent arc unstableness owing to the occurrence of short-circuiting by so constituting the equipment that the pulse current for the purpose of spraying is flowed between a wire electrode which is being fed and a nozzle electrode or barlike electrode, and flowing basic welding current between the wire electrode and welding base metals.
CONSTITUTION: A welding power source part is separated to a pulse current generating part 6 and a basic welding current supplying part 7, and a current suppressing means which decrease the formation of sputter at the short-circuiting is provided in the part 7. Hence, even if short-circuiting occurs between the same and welding base metals 5, the formation of sputtering may be prevented. On the other hand, the pulse current for the purpose of spraying is flowed a barlike electrode 8 and a wire electrode 4 which is being fed, by providing the nozzle electrode or barlike electrode 8 within the welding torch 2. Hence, the current for spraying does not flow in the base metals 5, whereby the formation of sputtering owing to the short-circuiting at the pulsing is prevented.
