Those codes are inputted to and encoded into (n) by internal encoder 3, whose output is transmitted via communication line 4 and stored temporarily in memory 12, so that the decoding will be performed by internal decoder 5 and Reed Solomon decoders 6a...6c successively. This decoding is performed successively by steps by allotting one Reed Solomon code.
