Abstract
PURPOSE: To match main steam and reheat steam quickly with metal temperature by providing a high-pressure turbine by-pass line having channels passing and not passing through a superheater, as well as a low-pressure turbine by-pass line having channels passing and not passing through a reheater.
CONSTITUTION: As the by-pass line of a high-pressure turbine 3, a channel passing through the superheater 2 and then a by-pass valve 13 and a channel not passing through the superheater 2 but passing through a superheater by-pass valve 12 are provided. And, as the by-pass line of a low-pressure turbine 5, a channel passing through the reheater 4 and then a by-pass valve 16 and a channel not passing through the reheater 4 but passing through a reheater by-pass valve 20 are provided. By this constitution, out of the steam produced by a boiler, the quantity of the steam passing through the superheater 2 and the reheater 4 can be controlled separately. In this way, main steam and reheat steam can be matched with the metal temperature of the turbines concurrently and quickly at the time of starting of the boiler, whereby the time required for starting of the thermoelectric power plant can be shortened.
