Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to separate distortion from each relay device, by seleting the group delay measuring frequency band in group bidirectional relay transmission line so that the group delay distortion caused in the transmission side relay transmission line can be compensated at the reception side relay transmission line. CONSTITUTION:In case of low group transmission and high group reception with a group bidirectional relay device, the continuous transmission signal F for group delay distortion measurement and the frequency band of intermittent transmission signal F1 are selected as shown in figure. In the transmission line group delay characteristic curves 17, 18 at one relay section, taking the group delay in occupied band of the signal F1 as D, and the group delay in the occupied band of the distortion folding reception signal F2 as D2, and the frequency conversion of the group delay D of signal F1 band into the signal F2 band as D1, the frequency band of signals F1, F2 is selected so that the sum of the group delay D1, D2 can almost be constant within the occupied band of the signal F2.
