Abstract

Here, A is the constant consisting of an arbitrary positive number, V is a measuring speed and VA is a pulse width. Every time when one of moving objects such as automobiles is measured, the pulse having the pulse width VA is outputted from an output terminal 8. In this way, the apparatus is so arranged as to output the pulses having the pulse width proportional to the square root of speeds, whereby sampling errors 16 decreased considerably.
