Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the operating speed of a press-contact member and prevent the position deviation of originals by applying the DC brake to a driving source at a predetermined timing at the opening-closing operations of the original press-contact plate. CONSTITUTION:Just before the press-contact plate arrives at an original imposing plate, a microswitch MS1 contacts the predetermined cam and conducts terminals 1 and 3, which interrupt the input to a motor M, then the input of the circuit (III) rises to an H level. In the circuit (III), predetermined single pulses are outputted by way of hammer drivers Q10-Q12, by which a relay RL3 is driven. As the relay RL3 is driven, the terminals 1 and 2 conduct and the DS braking currrent IS is flowed to the motor M by means of a transformer T1, diode DA, capacitor C5, etc. Then, the rotating speed of the motor M lowers gradually, by which the dropping speed of the press-plate is controlled and the position deviation of sheet originals is prevented.
