Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out adhesion simply with high adhesion strength, by a method wherein the adhesive surface of an adherent is previously cleaned, an adhesive is coated on the cleaned adhesive surface, the adhesive surface is finished by abrasion or a scraper through the uncured adhesive, and then adhesive surface is bonded.
CONSTITUTION: The adhesive surfaces of two materials to be bonded are cleaned by removing an oxide layer with sandblast and also removing moisture and oily matter. An adhesive is coated on the cleaned adhesive surfaces. In the uncured state of the adhesive, abrasive finishing or scraper finishing for the adhesive surfaces is carried out through the adhesive by means of an ultrasonic grinder or a scraper in order to remove contaminants such as dust, oily matter, moisture, or oxide layer on the adhesive surfaces and at the same time to abrade or smooth the adhesive surfaces. Then the adhesive surface is bonded to the adhesive surface of another adherent treated in the same manner and then a hardener is cured.
