Abstract
PURPOSE:To input efficiently drawing information by reading out and storing the position information of an image sensor according to the information of movement change points in a drawing inputting device which automatically traces the segments and boundary lines of drawing information. CONSTITUTION:When an image sensor 3 is in the position, a1, photoelectric transducers 4c, 4r, 4d, are OFF; therefore, the rightward movement is instructed and only the transducer 4u remains ON. When the sensor 3 reaches the position a2, the transducer 4r changes to ON; therefore, the sensor 4 is assigned of the downward movement. At the same time, the coordinate position of the position a2 is registered in a memory device 7. In this way, the tracking and movement of the boundary line of a square pattern A are accomplished. Hence, the accurate reading of the drawing information is accomplished and since there is no input of wasteful information, the memory capacity is decreased.
