Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately sense the skipping of hands due to disturbance and the like by rectifying the potential waveform generated in a coil by the rotation of a rotor and sensing the forward and reverse rotations of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:The oscillated signal from an oscillating circuit 38 is divided by a frequency dividing circuit 39. Said frequency divided signal is converted into the reference signal for a controlling circuit 41, a sensing circuit 43, and a driving circuit 42 by a waveform synthesizing circuir 40. The controlling circuit 41 rotates the stepmotor 44 by the clockwise rotating sensing signal T1 for the second hand of the detecting circuit 43 and counterclockwise signal T2, and compensates the error of the second hand. If the motor is not rotated by the driving pulse, the controlling circuit 41 compensates the motor by sending the compensating pulses. The driving circuit 42 applies the reversing pulses whose direction of the current changes every one second to the coil of the stepmotor 24 by the output signal of the controlling circuit 41. The sensing circuit 43 judges the skipping of the second hand and the rotation of the rotor caused by the driving pulses by using the potential waveform generated in the coil of the stepmotor 44.
