Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the setting accuracy by positioning a door mounting member feeder at a predetermined position by moving the same together with a vertically moving stand rearwards in the door transfer direction until a stopper comes into contact with a body. CONSTITUTION:The body B is transferred onto four positioning/supporting means 7 in the front and back sections and right and left sections. When the positioning of the body B is completed with respect to the height and width directions, the vertically moving stand 6 is moved by a cylinder unit 13 in a direction opposite to the door transfer direction to maintain the positioning of the body B. By this, a door D positioned on the vertically moving stand 6 by first and second transversely moving stands 9 and 16 and the door feeder 10 has a positional relationship correct for the door mounting operation with respect to the body B supported on the four positioning/supporting means 7. Next, only the first transversely moving stand 9 is advanced by a cylinder 15 by a stroke S and at the same time an inclined frame is rotated about a horizontal shaft 24 by another cylinder 25, so that the door feeder 10 is set at the door setting position with a stopper 29 brought into contact with a stop roller 28.
