Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform highly accurate detection with a simple device by combining a liquid determination device, an electrode for particle detection, etc. to the detector of specific construction. CONSTITUTION:The detector provided with a cylindrical detector body 3 which is inserted and fixed with a pellet 1 having a fine hole 2 in the lower side face or bottom part and is packed with spherical materials 5 such as glass beads, stainless steel balls or synthetic resin balls up to the upper part of the fine pore 2 from the bottom of the inside is prepared. The detector body 3 is then fixed into the sample chamber 6 inserted with an external electrode 22, in such a manner that the lower part of said body dips in suspension 7. The upper part 14 of the detector body is connected to a liquid determination device 17. Then, if sample (particle suspension) is introduced through a sample lead-in port 8 into the sample chamber 6 and is introduced into the detector through the fine hole 2 by the introduction of suction pressure into the device 17, particle counting is accurately accomplished under the electrical change between the inside and outside parts 21 and 22 while the return of the particles is being prevented by the spherical materials 5.
