Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of steps of test piece changing by performing mounting and dismounting of the test pieces only by mounting and dismounting of a lower cover. CONSTITUTION:The lower pull rod 15 mounted with a lower chuck 16 of a test piece T at its end is so erected as to position at the center of a test piece vessel 4, and a lower cover 13 inserted with a thermocouple 17 and an elongation measuring bar 18 measuring the temp. and elongation of the test piece T is fixed to the lower flange 7 of the vessel 4 by means of bolts 12. Then, if the operator holds the rod lever 19 of the elongation measuring rod 18 and rotates the head part of the test piece T, the test piece T is mounted to or dismounted from the upper chuck 23, and this makes possible the mounting and dismounting of the test piece O only by mounting and dismounting the lower cover 13 to and from the lower flange 7. Thus, the need for disassembling the vessel 4 is eliminated and the number of steps of test piece changing is considerably decreased.
