Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the influence of the light going backward, by giving the constitution where respective lights emitted from plural pairs of light sources pass the interference film filter and the anisotropic crystal once through the optical system and are coupled to one light waveguide path. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal polarized light emitted from light source 11 is connected to subordinate light waveguide path 2 directly or through the optical system such as a lens and is led to collimator lens 41. The light converted to a parallel light by collimator lens 41 passes through interference film filter 6 and is condensed by focusing lens 5 and is led to anisotropic crystal 7, and this horizontal polarized light is led to light waveguide path 3. Meanwhile, though the vertical polarized light of the different wavelength from light source 12 is incident to anisotropic crystal 7 through the same light path as the light from light source 11, the light path is bent, and this light coincides with the light from light source 11 at the emission end of anisotropic crystal 7 and is led to light waveguide equipment 3. Similarly, light emitted from light sources 13 and 14 are reflected by interference film filter 6 and pass through the same light path as lights from light sources 11 and 12 and are led to light waveguide path 3.
