PURPOSE:To increase the durability and reliability of an oscillator by converting the output voltage caused by the distortion accompanined with the oscillation of a piezo- electric element attached to the oscillator into light energy with a light emitting diode and transferring it as light fiber. CONSTITUTION:Oscillator 20 consisting of metallic plate 22 and piezoelectric element 21 is inserted into the gap surrounded by support 33, electrode terminal 30 and washer 23 and clumped up on the rough center of anchor bolt 29A uniformed with senser case 29 with bolt 24. Light-emitting diode 25 applied to the concave of bolt 24 is connected to earthing through bolt 24 and to terminal 30 with lead wire 31. The quantity of light emitted by diode 25 is transferred to the control device through light fiber 34 connected to connector 26 and converted into the quantity of electricity. In case of attaching the oscillation senser to the cylinder block of an enzine, element 2 detects the distortion of metallic plate 22 and converts it into voltage to make diode 25 emit. Thus, the lead wire from element 21 is not required and the influence of the noise caused by the ignition of the engine can be removed.
