Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the fracture of air-tight window and to improve the reliability, by connecting the space between electromagnetic wave permeable air-tight windows and an electronic tube through an exhaust tube, then after performing high temperature evacuation encapsulating said evacuation tube section to produce high vacuum independently in the space between the air-tight windows. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition where the space between two air-tight chambers 4, 5 is coupled through an evacuation tube 7, they are evacuated together with the space 2 in an electronic tube by means of an evacuating device 9 to provide high vacuum in the space 6 between windows. Thereafter the dot line section 12 of said tuve 7 is pressure contacted and the section 13 is also pressure contacted, while unnecessary U-shaped section in said tube 7 is separated to make the air-tight window section 6 air-tight independently from the electronic tube space 2. Furthermore after confirming that high vacuum is maintained, the dot line section 11 of the evacuating tube 8 for separating between the exhaust system and the electronic tube is pressure contacted. Consequently the fracture of the air-tight window is reduced to improve the reliability.
