Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the miniaturization of the inverter by adding the result of a voltage calculated and applied to the secondary circuit of a motor to a voltage command signal to vary the current waveform of the secondary circuit and thereby reducing the low harmonic wave components becoming obstructive for the signal. CONSTITUTION:The voltage applied to the secondary circuit of an AC motor 4 is calculated from the induced voltage of the motor 4 and the output voltage of a pulse width modulation type inverter 1. The calculator result is added to the voltage command signal vD to thereby vary the current waveform flowing through the secondary circuit, and the frequency component having 2m times (where m signifies the numbr of phases) of the frequency of the inverter produced at the DC power source 3 side of the inverter 1 is thus suppressed. For instance, the product of the output of an induced voltage simulator 9 and the voltage command vD is obtained by a multiplier 10 as a predicted induced voltage, is then added and differentiated, thereby suppressing the harmonic components as described above.
