Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable data to be imprinted constantly without allowing their densities to be affected by the variance in batteries etc. by operating specific circuits by a means which measures lamp light for data imprinting in a data imprinting device for cameras. CONSTITUTION:A data imprinting lamp L goes on when a transistor TR1 is turned on by the signals from NOR gates 1, 2. The quantity of the light of the lamp L is measured with a phototransistor TR2 and the signal thereof is led to the NOR gate 2 through an operating circuit consisting of a buffer 3, a flip-flop 4, an AND gate 5, a time constant circuit 6, and NOR gates 7, 8. Thus, the circuit so operates as to detect that the lamp has attained a certain quantity of light and to put out the lamp after lapse of the time determined by the time constant circuit, whereby the data imprinting of the constant density is accomplished. It is also possible to detect the life of a battery by using this photometric circuit and adding a clocking circuit.
