Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect density, pressure, and temperature simultaneously by providing a vibrating member having a vibrating film portion, a driving portion for vibrating the vibrating member in not less than three vibrating modes and an operating portion for obtaining the density, pressure and temperature of a fluid to be measured.
CONSTITUTION: A vibrating member 1 has a thin circulr head portion 13 (vibrating film portion) and a thick circular head portion 14 formed through hole 12 along a center axis. On a bottom of spot facing holes 15, 16 of the vibrating member 1, an exciting and detecting piezoelectric elements are respectively attached. Amplifiers 91W93 have a signal selectivity, so that when the amplifiers 91, 92, 93 respectively constitute the closed circuit, the frequencies of the vibrating member 1 are respectively fi, fj, fk. Accordingly, from a conversion circuit 95W97, signals corresponding to the frequencies fi, fj, fk are outputted. In this case, fi, fj, fk are natural frequencies of the vibrating member or vibrator 1 disposed in the fluid to be measured, so that they are functions of the density, pressure and temperature of the fluid to be measured, and any of the density, pressure and temperature can be obtained, if required, by an operating circuit 98.
