Abstract
PURPOSE:To captioned photoreceptor which comprises being provided with a photosensitive drum of non-metallic material formed with an earth layer and photosensitive layer and a heater layer formed integrally with said drum and which is light in weight, inexpensive and is easy to dispose at the discarding. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 2 of zinc oxide or the like is formed on the surface of a drum body 3 composed of non-metllic material such as paper tube. A conductive layer 4 composed of carbon or the like is formed between the drum body 3 and photosensitive layer 2 and both ends of the conductive layer 4 are connected to the traveling contact 5a of change-over switches 5, 5. These are so constituted that changing-over the traveling contact 5a to the 1st stationary contact 5b side connects the conductive layer to a heating power source 6 and that changing-over the same to the 2nd stationary contact 5c side grounds the conductive layer. Thus, the conductive layer 4 is so constituted as to serve both as the earth layer 7 and heater layer 8. As a result of this, to use the electrophotographic photoreceptor 9, the traveling contact 5a is changed over to the stationary contact 5c side and the conductive layer 4 is used by being grounded. When it is necessary to prevent dewing, etc., the traveling contact 5a is changed over to the stationary contact 5b side to heat the conductive layer.
