CONSTITUTION:Outputs of reed filters 11 and 12 are applied to filter characteristic control circuit 17. When filters 11 and 12 detect 982.5Hz, band-pass filter 7 for selecting a sub-channel signal is switched to a wide band, and the delay characteristic is made flat so that generation of distortion of the demodulation output dependent upon FM detection circuit 8 can be minimized. When filters 11 and 12 detect 922.5Hz, circuit 17 is operated to switch filter 7 to a narrow band so that cross talk in the bilingual broadcast can be enlarged.
