Abstract

At this time, since the temperature of the mixed steam 7 is lower than that of the packing leak steam 3, a temperature difference from the casing side becomes small, and a thermal deformation is avoided. In addition, an orifice 9 or chamber 10 may be provided if necessary for the preparation of the mixed steam 7, and it is preferable to install thermocouple 11, 12 in the casing side for the monitoring of temperature difference in order to increase a reliability.
