Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively perform the lining operation with excellent workability to the inner surface of a pipe by a method wherein a folded lining tube is unfolded turning inside out, and each of the rapid and slow hardening bonding agents and various kinds of expansion tools are employed.
CONSTITUTION: The lining tube which is previously folded and wound into a reel shape is lead through the choking block 6 slit 12 to one end of the pipe 2 which is to be lined, and the tube 5 is spread and turned inside out, and the end portion thereof is applied with a rapid hardening bonding agent and thus, it is made contact with the end portion of the pipe 2. This is pressed with the 1st expanding tool. After removing it, the choking block 6 is fitted to the pipe 2 to press the air inside and the lining tube 5 is extended gradually turning it inside out to be closely pressed to the pipe wall. (Previously the slow hardening bonding agent is applied to the tube 5 inner surface.) When this reaches the other end of the pipe 2, the rapid hardening bonding agent is applied to the gap between the tube 5 and the pipe 2 and then, the tube nose is bound and turned inside out and is pressed by the expanding tools 23, 26.
