Abstract

PURPOSE: To disable ignition of a kerosine combustor before energizing a neon lamp for displaying completion of its preheat by feeding the discharge current of the lamp 17 as a signal to a control circuit 14 to thus set the control circuit initially in combustion start enable state.
CONSTITUTION: When a power switch 20 is closed, a preheater 21 is energized to thereby heat an evaporating cylinder 2, and a voltage is also applied to a neon lamp 17 and a heat-sensitive element 22. When the cylinder 2 does not yet reach predetermined temperature at that time, the resistance value of the element 22 is lower than a resistor 18. Accordingly, a voltage applied across the lamp 17 is low to thus eliminate discharge at the lamp 17. Therefore, the terminal F of the control circuit 14 is not energized. Even if ignition switches 25, 27 are closed, a motor 8 for a combustion blower is not operated. When the cylinder 2 is then heated to predetermined temperature and the lamp 17 is thus energized (to indicate completion of preheat), discharge current is applied to the terminal F to thus set the control circuit 14 initially in combustion start enable state.
