Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify turbine structure and to improve property by providing a steam passage from a high pressure section to upper part of low pressure section without setting up a flow regulating valve at a low pressure entrance at the back of an exhaust port of high pressure section.
CONSTITUTION: An extraction turbine body 1 is constituted without setting up any regulation valve at the entrance of a low pressure stage 5. Extraction pressure P3 is regulated by adjusting an opening grade of an entrance regulating valve 8 through a regulating lever 14 by a pressure regulator 10. For increasing the low pressure section flow or the output, a setting value of the pressure setter 11 is raised and the extraction pressure regulatot 10 is moved downward to turn the lever clockwise arround the fulcrum 15, while the opening grade of the entrance regulating valve is increased for increasing a steam inflow volume. In this way the steam passage can be simplified and the output can be improved without setting any regulating valve at the entrance of the low pressure stage.
