Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction by a simple circuit by giving hysteresis characteristics to the displacement of an output signal attending that of an input signal by feeding the output of a voltage control oscillator back to the front stage of a phase comparator. CONSTITUTION:This unit consists of limiter 3, voltage control oscillator 7, LPF6, phase comparator 5, feedback circuit 12, voltage comparator 10, etc. Here, PLL8 is composed of oscillator 5, LPF6 and phase comparator 5, and modulator 4 of this PLL8, comparator 10, and a reference voltage generator. When PLL8 is locked to input signal fh or fl, it agrees with f0', but if mixing noise displaces fh or fl, limiter 3 performs cross modulation by f0', so that the input signal will be pulled toward the f0' side to fs. Therefore, it noises continues, the input signal is cross-modulated by f0 locked to fs cross-modulated at the previous time interval and it agrees with a frequency obtained by repeatedly displacing it, but momently noise disappears until fs agrees with f0, so that the output of comparator 10 will never be inverted.
