Abstract
PURPOSE:To resend effectively an error of codes by continuously sending a frame number with an error from a reception side to a transmission side and then by sending out continuously a resent frame with the error and a new frame from the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:From transmission side 20, an error check code is added to a coded signal and code via transmission circuit 40 and frame-structured continuous frames are sent out to reception side 30. In reception side 30, when an error frame is detected being included in a constant number of frames transmitted, the error frame number is continuously sent to transmission side 20 by a resending request frame. on receiving this resending request signal, transmission side 20 adds a new frame to the frame of the frame required to be resent and sends then considering a constant number of continuous frame as one unit. Consequently, even if an error occurs to resent frames again, a resending request can be sent again.
