Abstract

PURPOSE: To form excellent contacts in bus bar for electrolytic power feeding by a simplified method in which polygonal form of copper-clad aluminum bar is cut and selected and then welded to the end of an aluminum bus and one surface of the polygonal copper clad bar is touched with a copper bus bar.
CONSTITUTION: A copper-clad aluminum material consisting of the aluminum base 31 and the copper clad 32 is extruded into a polygonal shape by a high-pressure liqyid extruder, and then the copper-clad aluminum bar is cut into a desired length. The cut surface of the lauminum base 31 of the cut bar 30 is butted with both ends of the aluminum support bar Bs and then jointed integrally by the aluminum welding 40. Then, one surface of the polygonal sides of the copper clad 32 of the bar 30 is put on the copper bus bar Bc and loaded by the weight of the support bar Bs for raising its conductivity.
