Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title composition having low corrosive properties against the mold made of steel, without using an expensive raw material or reducing the moldability of the original resin composition, by adding an inorganic acid lead salt and an organic acid lead salt to a mixture of an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin and a polyvinyl chloride resin.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100pts.wt. of a resin composition composed of (a) 5W80wt% of a copolymer of acrylonitrile (10W80%), butadiene (10W40%) and styrene (30W 70%), or a copolymer of methacrylic acid ester, butadience and styrene, and (b) 95W20wt% of a polyvinyl chloride resin composition obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture composed mainly of vinyl chloride monomer in the presence of 0.005W5pts., based on 100pts. of the monomer, of a cycloolefin compound, is mixed with 1W15pts. of lead salts comprising (B) an inorganic acid salt of lead (e.g. tribasic lead sulfate) and (C) an organic acid salt of lead (e.g. tribasic lead maleate). The weight ratio of (B):(C) is 1:10W15:1.
