Abstract
PURPOSE: to make a load and rotational speed of the engine controllable with a simple device, by using an oil pressure from the engine lubricating oil pump as the hydraulic pressure source for the device.
CONSTITUTION: Pressurized oil, delivered from a lubricating oil pump 1, as usually after being regulated to almost a constant pressure by a pressure regulator valve, is fed to the engine main motion part A, simultaneously through a branch pipe 10, reaching an oil pressure distribution box 2, and passing a branch pipe 12 to be led to a rotational speed limiter 3, further passing a branch pipe 13 to be let to a fuel injection quantity limiter 5. In such way, when anomalously lowered a pressure of the lubricating oil by some reason, a speed of the engine is decreased or an operation of the engine is stopped, simultaneously, also when abnormally raised the engine exhaust gas temperature, by the same mechanism as in a lowering of the oil pressure, the engine speed or load can be decreased and a serious fault of the engine can be prevented.
