Abstract
PURPOSE: To transfer efficiently information to a memory part low in write speed, by providing a memory unit at a halfway point when transferring low-transmission- speed information to the high-write-speed memory part.
CONSTITUTION: Input information sent from a paper tape is transferred via input terminal 23 and temporarily stored in memory blocks 1, 2 and 3 before being recorded on a magnetic tape. Control terminals 26, 27 and 28 select memory blocks where information should be recorded. When block 3 is selected, a signal applied to write indication terminal 24 is passed through AND circuit 12 while a signal applied from write address signal terminal 25 is transferred into block 3, and the input information is temporarily written at a place indicated in the address signal in block 3. For read operation, a signal from read address signal terminal 33 is transferred to the block and a signal is applied to memory block selection terminal 29 and stored on the magnetic tape from output terminal 32.
